H-RAIL: first installation in Slovakia for façade maintenance

Installing the H-RAIL track system on the new multipurpose complex in Košice required a high level of technical coordination and planning. Completed in January 2025 in collaboration with the architectural firm Pačay Architects, this pilot project confirms the effectiveness of the H-RAIL OVERHEAD system in complex architectural settings and the possibility of customising the track to suit irregular surfaces.

Installation and a tailor-made structural solution

H-RAIL was chosen by the client to streamline maintenance operations on their glass façades. The architectural requirement to integrate the track without compromising the building’s aesthetic was addressed by our technical consultants, together with the Pačay architectural firm and installation partner Výškové Práce. To install H-RAIL, a metal structure had to be added to the building to anchor the track that supports the shuttle’s sliding movement.

The system’s modular and flexible design preserved the clean appearance of the glass façade while the high-strength lightweight alloy nonetheless ensures a high load capacity.

Training and technical support

The installation was entrusted to Výškové Práce, a partner specialised in high-altitude work, following dedicated training with Rothoblaas technical consultants. This ensured the installation met all safety standards while delivering consistent operational efficiency.
