Eucalyptus glulam post-and-beam structure

One of the country's most important real estate projects, "Puertos del Lago", on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, includes this beam-to-column structure made of Eucalyptus Grandis glulam, native to Argentina. A valuable and unusual material for a project that has an eye for luxury but also for sustainability.
Fifty-eight F70 retractable post bases were used to make it together with SBD self-drilling pins for superior aesthetic performance. Made of hot-dip galvanised carbon steel, F70 post bases are suitable for service classes 1, 2 and 3 and perform just as well with glulam as with solid wood and LVL.
